Marina Maximilian was born in the former Soviet Union in 1987 and immigrated to Israel with her parents at the age of three. Maximilian studied classical piano as a child and, though she was already performing in clubs and at festivals by the time she was a teen, burst onto the Israeli music scene as the runner-up of the 5th season of Kokhav Nolad (A Star is Born) in 2007. Maximilian has released several hit songs since then, including the following, titled ‘Deep in the Dew’.
