General Antisemitism

Regular CiF commenter rolls out thinly veiled anti-Semitic attack

Inayat Bunglawala

Inayat Bunglawala, CiF contributor and chair of Muslims4UK, published a post on his own blog, Inayat’s Corner, recently entitled, David Cameron on Israel and Iran: Compare and contrast.

Bunglawala asks why British Prime Minister David Cameron “spoke out against any calls to punish Israel for its continuing occupation of Palestinian lands, its illegal Jewish settlements, its cruel and barbaric treatment of the besieged and repeatedly bombed people of Gaza,” while condemning Iran “which is not occupying anyone else’s territory and unlike Israel does not possess nuclear weaponry.”

Bunglawala’s answer?

This contrast in policies is determined by “financial donations to our main political parties by shady operators who use their wealth to undermine and corrupt our democracy.”

As if there’s any doubt who Bunglawala’s ugly invective is directed towards, he tagged his post with the terms “Zionism” and “Israel lobby.”

Comment is Free rolls out commentators such as Bunglawala so often, its likely that this loathsome thinly veiled anti-Semitism will go unnoticed.

However, it needs to be noted that the Bunglawala’s group, Muslims4UK, is an initiative of the Muslim Public Affairs Committee (MPACUK).

In January 2009 Douglas Murray’s Centre for Social Cohesion issued a report about Asghar Bukhari, head of MPACUK; the Centre felt his comments on Facebook were sufficient to incite violence. This was referred to the police. Bukhari was quoted:

“Any Muslim who fights against Israel and dies is a martyr and will be granted paradise”; “There is no greater oppressor on this earth then [sic] the Zionists, who murder little children for sport…Zionists have a “crooked mind.”

MPACUK had been criticised by the CST for promoting the idea of a worldwide Zionist conspiracy and using material taken from neo-Nazi, white nationalist, and Holocaust denial websites. A report by the All-Party Parliamentary Group Against Anti-Semitism also notes the CST’s assertion that “[t]he use of ‘Zionist’ as a replacement for ‘Jewish’ is common on the MPACUK website” and that MPACUK has articulated antisemitic conspiracy theories through the language of anti-Zionism.

The word “chilling” doesn’t begin to describe the dynamic whereby hate mongers such as Bunglawala continue to grace the pages of “the world’s leading liberal voice” with total impunity.

  1. Unfortunately for Bungles, the facts show that it is the Arab lobby that is undermining our democracy.

Arab oil money has bought influence in British universities and institutions, and the UK defence industry depends on Saudi Arabia for jobs and profits.

The abandonment of the BAE corruption investigation shows how the Arab world has subverted our democracy, and how deep it has penetrated.

  2. moistly, an Islamist organisation being proscribed means not one thing in the UK, where the government and police authorities are so terrified of causing offence to these charmers that they are frozen and immobile in the face of the dangers they represent to peaceable folk.

Al-Muhajiroun for example is still active on the Luton campus where the idiot Islamist would-be mass murderer of Swedes “studied.” I know for a fact that the police know about this and do absolutely nothing.

The Arch-Bungler combines Jew-hatred with the absolute chutzpah that only one totally lacking in insight can display – he is on record as :

    – refusing to condemn stoning (he told a reporter that he couldn’t disrespect his prophet) and other sharia pursuits,

    – wanting a caliphate in the UK, which means that he would want stoning introduced to the UK

    – hating Jews – the infamous “Tribe of Judah” statement which follows him around like a bad smell, as well as being recorded in Ed Husain’s “The Islamist” as giving lessons in antisemitism to him and others from Hizb-ut-Tahrir;

    – as condoning and making excuses for suicide terror by Muslims by failing to condemn it unequivocally

and so on, but to add even more gross insult to those above, I heard him on a radio programme referring to Muslims as “the new Jews” of UK society, as if Muslims like him do not contribute to the rising tide of antisemitism here now, or in the past during WW2 with the likes of Hajj Amin al-Husseini who was an ally of Hitler and is on record as wanting a Judenrein Middle East.

Bunglawala and others of his ghastly ilk are masters of such mind boggling cheek, as they are at decrying the freedoms of western democratic process whilst quickly using it to silence criticism of their double standards by people who see through them.

So gagged and bound by mindless political correctness are the media that they dare not name the dangers of the Muslim lobby in the UK for what they are.

Muslims like Bunglawala are parasites on UK society – draining their host of strength whilst contributing absolutely nothing to its benefit or welfare.

Shame on successive UK governments for allowing them to take root and bringing their more peaceably inclined co-religionists into disrepute.

  3. Glad you sorted the Muslims4UK v Islam4UK, shame it sort of renders your argument a bit limp. Still at least you got it right that Muslims4UK was an initiative of MPAC, wait, no? Got that wrong too. As can be seen from Muslims4UK website although MPAC’s logo is there, it does clearly state that it has no relationship with Muslims4UK.

Oh and quoting the laughable Douglas, the muzzies are coming, Murray of the ahem ‘Centre for Social Cohesion’ (can anyone say this with a straight face?) does you no favours.

  4. Mostly harmful and very stupid.

You are wrong on every count.
Douglas Murray is clear-headed, courageous and not intimidated by the Islamist bullies.
His opinions are sought after, yours are not.
Which is why he is often invited as a panellist on Question Time, and you are not

  5. @Sarah Jane
Saying I am wrong on every count does not make it so, please provide evidence.

His ‘Centre for Social Cohesion’ exists solely to blur the lines between violent extremists and muslims in general.

  6. Mostly harmful etc.

Sorry, I don’t waste my precious time arguing with cranks.
Go and sound off at your usual haunts, like JfJfP, Independent Jewish Voices, and the like, where, no doubt, you will get a sympathetic hearing.

  7. Many centuries ago, the anti-Semites were telling lies about Jews poisoning the wells and causing the plague epidemic. In the 1800’s they forged the Protocols of the Elders of Zion, to make it look like Jews had a plot to take over the world.
The pague was proved to be caused by rat fleas and the Protocols were proven to be a hoax.
Today, anti-Semites say that Jews use wealth to undermine democracy and that they murder children for sport.
Do you see a pattern here? Yes, anti-Semites have been lying for centuries, and they’re still doing it today. They haven’t changed their tactics at all. You can never believe what an anti-Semite says. They’re all liars.
It’s possible that some anti-Semites tell lies about Jews to take attention away from the fact that they’re doing the same thing they’re accusing the Jews of doing. So when you hear an anti-Semite say that Jews kill kids, keep your children very close when that anti-Semite is around.

  8. Moistly, I see that Douglas Murray really does worry you a great deal since you have nothing to charge him with. His kind of logic and clear-eyed observation must be terrifying to muddled minds such as yours.
