Palestinians arrested in Fogel family murder said they would have killed other children if they had the chance

Hakim Maazan Niad Awad, an 18-year-old high school student, and Amjad Mahmud Fauzi Awad, 19, both from the West Bank village of Awarta, located 2 kilometers south of the settlement of Itamar.

According the the Jerusalem Post:

Two Palestinian youths from the village of Awarta were arrested in recent days for the brutal slaying of five members of the Fogel family in their Itamar home last month, the IDF and Shin Bet said on Sunday following the lifting of a media ban on the investigation.

The suspects have been named as Hakim Maazan Niad Awad, an 18-year-old high school student, and Amjad Mahmud Fauzi Awad, 19, both from the West Bank village of Awarta, located 2 kilometers south of the settlement of Itamar.

The suspects have confessed to the stabbings and reenacted their acts, security forces said on Sunday. According to Army Radio, they did not express remorse for their crimes.

They are affiliated with the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PLFP) terror group, and received significant assistance from family members and friends after the attack, security forces added.

According to Israel Radio, Amjad said that he was unaware that there were two other children in the house [in addition to the three they had already killed], and that if he knew, he would have stabbed them as well.

More on this story soon.

  1. This is SOP (standard operating procedure) now. Anytime something happens the Palestinians do not like, they want an “international inquiry”.

They could keep the world busy with tie demands and misdeeds. How about an international inquiry into the murders of the Fogels?

  2. Yet another reason why Israel needs to get out of the holding cell of the international political system.

Israel should have resigned its U.N. membership back in 1975, when Zionism was declared racism, instead of the theatrics of tearing up a piece of paper. However, if it must be done late then let it be done. International “law” has been the bane of Israel’s existence, in which the Jewish State has been subjected to hoisting after hoisting on a petard that isn’t even our own.

“Amjad said that he was unaware that there were two other children in the house [in addition to the three they had already killed], and that if he knew, he would have stabbed them as well.”

And once we’re out of those shackles of unjust “law,” attend to the duty of finally securing our women and children from the bloodthirsty savages surrounding us.

  3. Well done the IDF and Shin Bet.

I hope these filthy creatures are made to suffer for their abominable crime for the rest of their miserable lives. The scum that helped them must also be made to pay, and their family name should be reviled in perpetuity.

  4. “I hope these filthy creatures are made to suffer for their abominable crime for the rest of their miserable lives.”

I have little hope in that department. They’ll probably spend life in prison on Israeli taxpayers’ expense, and then be released on a prisoner exchange deal. “Pragmatism” eats every good portion of common sense still left in the world.

  5. I wonder how long it will be before a town square or park is named in honor of these “heroes?”

  6. These arrests combined with the death of Daniel Viflic makes for almost unbearable reading.

  7. Too bad were taken into custody in the first place After what they had done in Itamar, the scumbags forfeited their right to walk upright and breathe fresh air. Now they will get all lawyered up instead of eating bullets.

It is not justice by a long shot.

  8. Lets hope they are not going to be released like that other child murdering sadist Kuntar (and given an Al Jazeera Bday celebration) in exchange for corpses.

  9. Actually, the crucial point is how young these perpetrators are. I can’t help think that their actions were the end product of the systematic brainwashing of Palestinian children with genocidal hatred. Why don’t the human rights organisations scream out about this child abuse?

  10. Don’t you just wish that Israel has capital punishment.it is still never too late.

Instead these two will be living in reasonable luxury, get an education, and then get swapped most probably for someone like Shalit. To go back to killing children.

And what’s more these two palestinains are not the first cold blooded child killers.

What’s with these palestinians is there something in their genes, that makes them cold blooded killers.

  11. “..Why don’t the human rights organisations scream out about this child abuse?…”

They’re probably Quakers who wouldn’t know a incident of Palestinian child abuse if it took place in front of them, and even if it did they would blame it on Israel.
