Sounds Israeli: Eric Burdon live in Binyamina. #BDSfail

Resisting the bullying tactics of BDS activists (which reportedly even included death threats), Animals frontman Eric Burdon performed in front of a sell-out crowd at Zappa Shuni Amphitheater in Binyamina, Israel on Thursday – a one hour set which followed an opening act by the Israeli band T-Slam.

Here’s a clip of of the 72-year-old Burden performing the Animal’s classic, Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood.

  1. Should we stop scolding BBC for its persistent prejudices? They must be catering to others with similar prejudices. Topics and facts they choose to report already represent a set of prejudices with which their readers are most comfortable. I am not sure that we accompllish anything by rattling their cage.

  2. Well, as we all know and as Peres honestly said, Britain is/has always been a hotbed of anti-semitism; spiritual, cultural, textual (yes, read post-Lutheran texts) and racial prejudice. So anything the self-acclaimedly ‘objective’ BBC report on Burdon is void. I won’t stoop to posting online ‘evidence’ of this prejudice, it would belittle my own experiences of it.

By the way, have you seen this?

Fair play to Caplan for putting it out there.
